Books About Grace For New Believers

I love to read – and I really love to read about grace.  I thought it might be helpful to review and recommend a couple of books about grace, books specifically written for the new believer.  Over time, The Grace Station will feature in-depth reviews of my favorite grace-related books, but these are a the two books that got me “started” – and two books that I regularly recommend to believers who are newly-interested in the subject of grace.

The Grace Awakening by Charles R. Swindoll – I read this book just after receiving Christ as my personal Savior and it helped to clarify so much about God, His love for me, and the realty of His grace.  I heartily recommend it.

The Grace Awakening is available in several formats –

Grace: An Exposition of God’s Marvelous Gift by Lewis Sperry Chafer – If you are looking for a book about the theology of grace, this is the book to read.  Chafer does a wonderful job of introducing the basic theological truths about God’s grace.
